Protocol for handling restricted data in email

First, do not put P3 or P4 information in email.  If you do need to send or receive restricted data, use Filelocker.

If you receive an email with P3 or P4 information…

Contact the sender and request they delete the email from their sent folder and also delete the email from your inbox/email server.  

If you accidently send P3 or P4 information via email…

Contact the recipient and request they delete the email from their inbox/email server and also delete the email from your sent folder.
